Knowledge – it’s an extremely powerful thing. Whether it’s knowing yourself, your field, or your clients, you own that knowledge and no one can take that away from you.
You are your business. There’s a piece of you in every part of your business. Your personal understanding and development is intertwined with your business. If they feel disconnected, you might be disconnected from yourself.
The better you know yourself, the better you are able to run your business. You probably started your business with your genius zone in mind and that’s a great place to begin. Beyond that, as a business owner, you can customize how your business runs to best fit your needs and personality.
Think about how you like to work: do you concentrate better at home or do you find it distracting? Are you more productive with a consistent schedule or do you get more done when you roll with the punches? Also consider how your business and your wellbeing interact: How often do you need to take breaks? Are you giving yourself enough time to recharge? Are you treating your body and mind with the respect it deserves? When you know what works for you on a personal level, you can apply that to your business to level up.
It’s great to know yourself as you are now but it’s even better to keep growing your knowledge. Develop as a person and you should see a development in your business. There are so many amazing resources and learning opportunities out there. We should be taking advantage of them! You can dabble in self development, gain new and complimentary skills related to your business, and you can keep up with the changing landscape of your industry. No matter where you grow your knowledge, it will show up in your business.
I know that every time I’ve read a self-help book, went to a seminar, or attended a workshop, I’ve come back to work able to bring that much more knowledge to the women I serve. That knowledge creates an even greater transformation than my previous self could have.
